Analytics

Sauna Therapy Guide uses privacy-first, cookieless analytics (Plausible Analytics or Fathom Analytics). These tools collect aggregate, anonymized page-view data including general geographic region (country-level), referring source, browser type, and page path. They do not collect personal identifiers, do not use cookies, and are compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and similar privacy frameworks. No personal data from analytics is shared with third parties or used for advertising.

Contact form and email

If you send an email to any address at saunatherapyguide.com (corrections, clinic submissions, editorial questions), the content of that message and your email address will be read by the site editor, Dr. Michael Hummel, NMD. Your information will not be shared with third parties, added to a marketing list, or used for any purpose other than responding to your message.

Corrections

If you submit a correction, the substance of the correction may be referenced in a published correction note on the relevant page. Your name and email address will not be published.

No tracking scripts

This site does not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Twitter/X tracking pixels, heat-mapping scripts (Hotjar, Clarity), or any third-party advertising technology.

External links

This site links to external pages (research papers, clinic websites, publisher sites). When you follow an external link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for their practices.

Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com). Google's servers receive your IP address as part of this request. If you prefer to block this, you can use a browser extension to block Google Fonts requests; the site will fall back to system serif and sans-serif fonts.

Changes to this policy

If the analytics provider or contact handling changes in a way that affects this policy, it will be updated here with a new review date.
